Michael A. Weidinger
Michael A. WeidingerMr. Weidinger focuses his practice on corporate, commercial and alternative entity litigation under Delaware law. His primary work has been in the Delaware Court of Chancery, although he has substantial experience in federal district court and in alternative dispute resolution. He also provides corporate advice in connection with transactions involving Delaware entities. He has been lead counsel in numerous trials in the Court of Chancery and has argued appeals in the Delaware Supreme Court. His work has included numerous appraisal and unfair dealing cases arising out of mergers and acquisitions, where he has been primarily responsible for presentation of expert testimony and other valuation evidence. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Delaware.
Mr. Weidinger received his law degree in 1994, with high honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. His undergraduate degree, cum laude, is from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Mr. Weidinger has been a presenter at bar seminars and at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business on matters of valuation evidence. He has been listed in Chambers USA in 2007 and 2008 for Court of Chancery practice.
